Find Your Perfect Cruise

Are there any child-free ships?

There are child-free ships available with two cruise lines – P&O and Cruise & Maritime.

P&O have three ships to choose from that are all child free, Adonia, Arcadia and Oriana.

Adonia is the smallest ship within the P&O fleet. Carrying just 710 passengers, she is designed to give an intimate and elegant feel to guests with her décor reflecting back to the traditional age of cruising yet in a modernised manner. Adonia’s size plays as an advantage when it comes to ports of call. Being a smaller ship, she has the ability to sail into smaller, less commercial ports of call than the larger ships of today.

Arcadia is one of P&O's mid-sized ships with its features tailored around pampering and relaxation. Extravagance can be seen throughout this stylish cruise liner, from the large hydrotherapy pool and thermal suite, its three tiered theatre, art gallery and exterior glass fronted lifts. The main highlight is of course its Marco Pierre White ‘Ocean Grill’ and Atul Kochhars ‘East’ restaurants.

Oriana is one of P&O’s more luxurious cruise ships. Guests are again treated to the fabulous Marco Pierre White’s ‘Ocean Grill’ restaurant as well as spectacular evening shows. Other features on board include the relaxing Oasis Spa, the Crow’s Nest Bar with stunning panoramic views and the ships main atrium with a spectacular Tiffany glass ceiling.

The fourth child-free cruise ship is Cruise & Maritime’s Marco Polo. She offers a traditional cruising experience set in warm, cosy surroundings. With several lounge areas, leisure facilities and dining options including the elegant Waldorf Restaurant, cruisers can enjoy all the amenities of a big ship as they relax on this intimate sized cruise liner. The new Flagship Magellan will also be an Adult only ship.

Guests travelling on board any of the three P&O child-free ships must be at least 18 years of age on the day of embarkation. For Cruise & Maritime’s Marco Polo, guests aged 16 on the day of embarkation can travel on board if accompanied by an adult.
