P&O Cruises Future Cruise Credit

A P&O Cruises Future Cruise Credit (FCC) is when P&O Cruises turn the money you’ve paid towards a holiday into a credit, almost like a voucher. This means your holiday fund stays where it is and can be used towards a future cruise.

If you’ve been affected by a cancellation due to Covid-19, you’ll automatically receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (FCC) that can be used towards a future cruise booking. Your FCC will be applied to your loyalty number and can be redeemed towards any new sailing up to the end of March 2022, when you re-book by the end of December 2021.

When you make your next booking with us, just let us know that you have a FCC and provide us with your loyalty number and we’ll have the FCC automatically applied to your new booking. You can even use your FCC to upgrade your experience on board.

Using your FCC

As well as towards a new P&O cruises holiday, you can also use your FCC to upgrade your cabin on an existing booking. Why not treat yourself to a taste of the Suite life? You can make the most of our largest cabin complete with its own lounge, dressing area, spacious balcony plus you could enjoy luxuries like your own butler, inclusive room service and priority boarding.

Another option is to use your FCC for a second cabin to bring friends or family with you on a cruise you’ve already booked.

The FCC can also be gifted or transferred to friends or family. Simply contact your Cruise Expert to request an FCC ID number. The recipient will need to provide this and your surname so that the FCC can be amended. You are responsible for agreeing the terms with your friends or family as once provided by the guest, the FCC ID number may be used and the amendment to the FCC cannot be cancelled by the original guest.

The FCC needs to be used either as above, or applied to a new booking, before the end of December next year. For new bookings, we would recommend that they are used as soon as possible as 2021 sailings are filling up. If you have a specific itinerary, date or ship in mind then it is always better to book early, particularly given the high demand for next year.

Will my FCC expire?

Yes, your FCC will have an expiry on 31st December 2021.

What happens if my cruise value is less than my FCC?

If your FCC exceeds the cost of the cruise, a new one will be issued in the amount of the leftover balance.

What happens if my cruise value is more than my FCC?

If your cruise value is more, you can simply pay the difference between the new cruise fare and the amount of the FCC.

Can I use my FCC towards another cruise that I have already booked?

You can use your FCC to upgrade or add a second cabin to your existing booking or you may now gift or transfer your FCC to friends or family.

How do I use FCC to upgrade an already booked holiday?

Call our Cruise Experts and they will be happy to assist you in using FCC to upgrade an existing holiday.

What happens if I cancel after FCC is applied to a new booking?

Once an FCC has been applied to a new booking, if you then cancel, any refund will be given in FCC.

Can I use my FCC with Destinology if my original booking was with another agent?

Yes, the FCC issued is owned by the guest, it is not attached to the original agency. 

Is FCC protected by ABTA?

100% of the cruise fare paid by you and held as an FCC is bonded by ABTA or ATOL (for fly-cruises) so you can be secure in the knowledge that your money is protected under those arrangements.
