Minhla is a town and seat of Minhla Township, Tharrawaddy District, in the Bago Region of southern-central Myanmar. It lies approximately 20 kilometres south of Okpho off National Highway 2. It is located roughly 155 kilometres north of Yangon. Its population in 1908 was 2553.

Salay is a town located in Chauk Township, Magway District, Magway Region, Myanmar. Salay is located by the eastern banks of the Ayeyarwady River, and its nearest town is Chauk, which is about 21 kilometres away.

Pakokku is a largest city in the Magway Region in Myanmar, also known as Burma. It is situated about 30 km north-east of Bagan on the Irrawaddy River. It is the administration seat of Pakokku Township, Pakokku District and Gangaw District.

Day 10 - Yandabo

Yandabo is a village on the Ayeyarwady River in Myingyan Township, central Burma. The Treaty of Yandabo which ended the First Anglo-Burmese War, was signed here on 24 February 1826.

Day 11 - Mingun

Mingun is a small town in central Myanmar (formerly Burma). It sits on the banks of the Irrawaddy River, northwest of the city of Mandalay. It's known for the Mingun Pahtodawgyi, an immense, unfinished pagoda. Nearby, the Mingun Bell is a colossal bronze bell from the early 19th century. To the north, the striking, white Hsinbyume Pagoda is defined by its wavy, tiered terraces and is crowned by a large stupa.

Sagaing is the capital of the Sagaing Region of Myanmar. It is located in the Irrawaddy River, 20 km to the south-west of Mandalay on the opposite bank of the river. Sagaing with numerous Buddhist monasteries is an important religious and monastic centre.

Mandalay is a city and former royal capital in northern Myanmar (formerly Burma) on the Irrawaddy River. In its center is the restored Mandalay Palace from the Konbaung Dynasty, surrounded by a moat. Mandalay Hill provides views of the city from its summit, which is reached by covered stairway. At its foot, the Kuthodaw Pagoda houses hundreds of Buddhist-scripture-inscribed marble slabs.
